We have been really busy today celebrating Maths Week. 1st class started off with a maths trail around the school with Ms. O’ Neill and Mr. Fitzpatrick. Junior Infants went on a Maths Teddy Bears Picnic with Ms. Deighan and Ms. Ormsby. They did lots of counting, sorting and enjoyed some treats! 5th and 6th class kindly helped out again in Ms. O’ Halloran’s class, Ms. Palmer’s and Ms. Ormsby’s Infants doing lots of problem-solving games and reading books full of maths language. 2nd classes did a data experiment with skittles (which they enjoyed at the end!). 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes are very busy solving multiplication and division tables on Times Tables Rock Stars! 🌟 🌟 🌟
