A big thanks to Ms.Hehirs 6th class and Ms.Tobin’s 5th classes. They made maths week very special for our junior pupils today. 6th class read books with maths language to Junior Infants and 5th class played problem-solving games with Senior Infants. During assembly in the halla, we congratulated all pupils who earned a Mathletics certificate, and our two top scorers Kimberley and Safiie were presented with trophies. Esmeralda won a trophy for being the highest point scorer at the Times Tables Rockstars competition. All pupils from 3rd to 6th class who participated also received certificates. Our 4th puzzle winner was announced, well done to Lamya. It was an extremely difficult job for our judge to choose the three winners from each class in our maths poster competition, well done to everyone who entered! Many thanks to all the teachers and parents who encouraged their pupils this week!
