An exciting end to our Maths Week. We started the day with a fun game of Bingo with Ms. O' Sullivan (HSCL) in the parents room, where there were plenty of prizes won. At assembly the prizes for the Daily Maths Puzzle were awarded to Maya 6th, Zahra 6th and Asiia 1st, with the final two winners yet to be announced. After such great work put in by all the classes in the Times Tables TT Rockstars challenge it was tough to award prizes. The Top 10 pupils on the leaderboards were Irlanda and Mitchelle 3rd, Gabrielly 4th, Daisy, Best, Olivia 5th, Maya, Zahra, Shania, Esmeralda 6th and Aminata 3rd who put in a great effort. We had over 220 Mathletics certificates to award this month so it ... took a while! Well done everyone for the continuous great effort. We ended our day with the Maths Quiz from 1st to 6th class. Everyone enjoyed working together to solve maths questions. It was very close between all teams in the end, finishing with a five way tie-breaker with Maya just pipping the other to claim the win for her team. A thank you to all the teachers, pupils and helpers for rocking us out. Maths Rocks!!
