Week: 30^th March – 3^rd April Monday – Friday

Please be aware that this is just a guideline for the week. We are conscious that this is a very stressful time for families given the current situation and therefore there is no pressure to complete everything.

The most important thing is to stay safe and maintain social distance at all times.

Writing:

Think of some words that begin with the sound (s) – Draw a picture of as many (s) words as they can think of. Now see if they can label these pictures by writing the words underneath.

Write your news on a piece of paper/copy and draw a picture to accompany it.

Reading:

Continue practicing and reading the list of sight words that the kids received leaving school. Try to find these words in books that are at home.

We would recommend trying to read 1-2 books per week.

Talk about each shape that you find. How many sides? Are they straight? How many corners? Are they sharp? Does it roll?
