Hi All,
I hope this note finds you and your families well! Just to touch base with you all, the children were sent home with a schedule of work last Thursday. This included:
- 1 page of Maths per day
- 1 page of English per day
- 2 spellings per day. Each spelling is to be written out three times and also put into a sentence
- 1 'Words Their Way' sheet per week. The children know what they are expected to do for WTW, that is a picture/ word sort, blind sort, writing sort, glue sort( if you have glue at home), word hunt (if the child has a reading book at home)
- Each child has received a new copy and all work that cannot be done on the sheets given should be completed in this copy please.
- Tables can be practiced on www.topmarks.co.uk
I would also recommend that the children try to do some sort of exercise each day. This could include going for a family walk (maintaining social distancing of course), using the online yoga demonstrations on www.cosmickids.com, following activities on www.gonoodle.com or following Joe Wicks online youtube workouts for kids!
We have also been spending time working on our creativity in class. There are step by step art you tube tutorials available online.
I will be uploading extra Maths and English sheets for the children, should they be needed!
