Over the past 3 weeks Ms Tobin's 5th class have being using paper mache to create these incredible hot air balloons.
They started with a balloon then layered them with newspaper and watered down glue. It was very difficult to try to smooth but they succeeded. There were many problems in between ;our class was in constant fear of balloon popping, which happened at anytime😃😃. Also a lot of problem solving to figure out how to continue paper mache after the balloon had popped.
The final week they painted them with vivid primary colours,which was very difficult as the paper mache was very delicate.
They are so proud of their final product, take a look they are stunning!
